I'm a retired educator who loves books, literacy, and learning (well, I love math too)!
When I retired, I wanted to find ways to use my time productively. I was already working a bit for an online university whenever they happened to call. I heard about a Little Free Library and decided we needed one on our corner lot! I love to see moms and kids stopping to pick out books! I added some volunteering at the local elementary school and some tutoring to each week. Really all of that was enough to keep me busy 👀
But a friend introduced me to Usborne Books & More and I loved the quality of the books. I also loved the idea of promoting literacy wherever possible. So even though I'm not a salesperson, I decided to join this organization. I call it my hobby job. And that's something I love about Usborne Books & More - there are no requirements after joining. I can enjoy telling people about our books, sharing them with others, without the pressure of having to make a sale. My favorite part of being an independent consultant with Usborne Books & More is helping others get free books! If "free" interests you ... I'd love to talk to you!
